Information about the labor and demographics around a property can be crucial to site selection. Below are some features and functions of the Labor and Demographics aspect of SiteXcellerator, followed by an explanation on how to perform these functions.

What Are Some Features Of The Labor And Demographics Function?

• Labor and demographic reports for selected properties.
• Evaluate multiple properties at once (max of 3).
• Revise searches.
• Integrated functionality on map for radial searches.

What Can You Do With The Labor And Demographics Tab?

• Evaluate full range of demographic data on selected properties.
• Look at radial demographic data surrounding properties.
• Use the Properties Grid to evaluate demographics in a side-by-side fashion.
• Compare labor and demographic data around properties - max of 3 at any one time.
• Revise search without navigating back (search properties tab functionality integrated at right).

What Are The Steps For Performing A Labor and Demographics Search?

Step One: After selecting the property in which you are interested, click on the Explore Labor & Demographics tab. This will bring up a blank Labor & Demographics page.

Step Two: Next, you will need to select a method of searching from the L&D Options tab. You have three options:

1. Run the demographics for the county of the selected property,
2. Run the demographics for a certain radius around the property (15, 30, or 45 miles), or
3. Run an Ad-Hoc demographics search in a radius around a point you choose.

Step Three: Once the L&D search has been performed, you can use the tabbed navigation in the grid to select the demographic you want to view. Options include:

• General Labor market.
• Ethnicity.
• Age.
• Educational Attainment.
• Income.

Step Four: If you would like to view the L&D for more than one property, Ctrl-click on a property icon on the map. The property will be added to the grid. Below are related features:

• User prompted to retain prior radial search.
• User may add up to three properties for side-by-side comparison.
• User may opt to use different radial searches for properties selected.
• Add property to custom group.

How Do I Run A Labor & Demographics Report?

Once you are on the Labor & Demographics page, running a report is easy. Simply click on the L&D Reports tab and run the report. You will be prompted to open or save a PDF file that will have all the data available in the SiteXcellerator database.
