Performing an Area Employers search can give you vital data about the business
enviroment around the properties. The features of and process for the Area Employers
function are listed below:

- Search for employers by industrial classification (NAICS).
What Can You Do With The Area Employers Function?
- Full employer data on selected properties built around best-in-class data
from Harris (D&B).
- Radial employers' data surrounding properties.
- Search for employers by NAICS code.
- Tabbed Grid review of employers' data for ease of access.
- Compare employer data around properties.
- Revise search without navigating back (search properties tab functionality
integrated at right).
What Are The Steps For Performing An Area Employers
Search?
Step One: Select the properties about which you want to learn more and click
on the Explore Area Employers tab.

Step Two: The Area Employers Display Panel will come up with a number of search
options. You can choose:
- Which properties for which you would like area employer information,
- How to define the search (by zip code, county, or radial distance),
- What NAICS code or name to search under, and
- The minimum and maximum employees for the companies in the search.
Click on the OK button. The Grid will display area employers
information for the criteria specified.
NOTE: Defining the search by zip, county, or radial distance can also be done
under the Area Employers Display Options tab.
The Area Employers search is one of the most complicated functions in SiteXcellerator.
Once you have learned about searching for and selecting properties, running
reports, and using the Labor & Demographics and Area Employers functions,
you will have mastered the basics of SiteXcellerator.
